Surah Waqiah (Al-Waqʿiah) سورة الواقعة; “The Inevitable”or “The Event” is the 56th surah (chapter) of the Quran. It was revealed in Mecca (see Meccan surah). The total number of verses in this surah are 96. It is part of Juz 27. It is also Know as vaqia, waqiya and Waqia.
